​Jen Lightfoot is a mixed media painter, tattoo artist (at Medusa Tattoo Studio in Ithaca, NY), and musician. Her mixed media paintings, which are heavily influenced by pinup art, punk rock, and horror films, combine elements of the erotic and the grotesque. Jen's love of drawing began in pre-school when her grandmother taught her the art of making paper dolls. Jen held onto that love of drawing the figure and expanded it from tiny cartoons to surreal nudes that experiment with eroticism and the grotesque.

She received her MFA from the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts in 2013, and in 2007 she received her BFA in Illustration from Moore College of Art and Design. Jen has exhibited her work at galleries internationally including The Dark Art Emporium, Gristle Art Gallery, MF Gallery, Ars Memoria Gallery,. Her work has been featured in publications such as PIKCHUR Magazine, Out of Step Books, and NUMiNOUS Magazine.
